It’s been just over three weeks since “The Girl From Greece – A Tribute to Nana Mouskouri” concert at the Cremorne Theatre, proudly supported by QPAC - and we finally have a moment to reflect.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who joined us at QPAC, filling both shows with so much love and joy. To feel the energy in the room, to hear your stories of how Nana’s music touched your lives, and to share in that was beyond anything we could have imagined.
This show wouldn’t have been possible without our brilliant team. Huge thanks to our Director, Lewis Jones, our Assistant to Director & Creatives and Cultural Liaison, Soula Drakopoulos, and our incredible Musical Director, John Reeves. We’re so grateful to have worked with talented individuals who brought this show to life.
A big shoutout to our phenomenal band:
John Reeves – Piano & Piano Accordion Nikos Papadimitriou – Bouzouki Nick Paras – Bouzouki Dr. Bob – Bass Eddie Gazani – Guitar/Voice Miguel Mendoza – Drums Dave Kemp – Percussion
And to our talented dancers Evan Chronopoulos, Victor Comino and Panagiotis Veneris, who brought such energy and joy to the stage.
To our wonderful guest singer and dear friend Christina Xydi-Lignou—thank you for your incredible performances and passion.
And to QPAC and John Kotzas for believing in this project and in us to pull it all together.
To our family, friends, supporters, and our beautiful community who shared our posts and sent us messages - you made this journey possible.
This tribute was more than a concert; it was a celebration of Nana’s legacy, and we’re so grateful to have shared it with all of you.
Stay tuned because we’re just getting started! More news to come!
Please enjoy these beautiful images by Peter Wallis.
With all our love,
Mel & Kat (The Girl From Greece)
